I'm looking at buying the S&B book from Amazon. The title says it is for Java 5, but the excerpt page mentions Java 1.4. So which is it?

Well, from this thread it sounds like this is the right book, so I already placed an order. I'm buying textbooks for the new semester and though I'd try to get them all in one shipment. Now I'm ready to forge ahead to study for the SCJP exam!

Hey Layne,

Amazon is having a lot of troubles, including the fact that they're using the TOC and descriptions from the 1.4 book! But, if it says Java 5 on the cover, it's the right book. Also, the ISBN for the new (tiger) edition is 007 225360-6.

hth,

Bert

Okay, the ISBN matches, so it should be the right one!

Thanks,

I’ve looked at a lot of different solutions, and in my humble opinion Aspose is the way to go. Here’s the link: http://aspose.com
