Are you planning SCJP 1.4 or SCJP 5.0?
If you are going for SCJP 5.0 then go for SCJP 5 Kathy and Bates.

Everybody here says that that book is the best available.
This is the book for 1.5 but there is also one for the 1.4 exam.
I ordered it yesterday

i tried for khathy and bates book for 1.4
they said dat it is not available
so anybody help me if the khathy and bates 1.4 is available???

hey now tell me SCJP 1.5 is some kind of updated version? is it better to write SCJP 1.5 than SCJP 1.4?I AM JUST A STARTER IN JAVA AND MY CAREER.WHICH EXAM WILL HELP ME BETTER?K&B is good for 1.4 too?
