Hi,

I downloaded the latest version of sun jdk 1.5.0_06 from the sun website.But i get compiler errors when i try to use new features of 1.5 like,
* new format of for loops
* ArrayList<String> a = new ArrayList<String>();
What is the reason for the errors?
Or from where i can download the latest version so that i can compile and run the new features of 1.5

Thanks,
Arthi.

run javac -version where you compile. It is possible, that you still have an older version still installed on your machine and before the 5.0 version in your PATH env Variable.
