II.Project:COSMOS (Comprehensive System for Media Operation and Services) for Hindustan Thompson Associates, Mumbai May 1998 - February 2000 Hindustan Thompson Associates is the number one Advertising Agency in India with an annual turnover crossing RS 500/- core mark. The system is divided into modules including television, press, radio, outdoors and cinema. Modules are subdivided into campaign, plan, estimate, scheduling, material requisition, release order, and billing. The system generates certain reports and provides purging and finale conversion modules. The COSMOS System was broken up into 2 databases i.e. House Keeping (Masters) and Regular (Transactions). As a Programmer, I was responsible for the following: Specifically responsible for requirement analysis, technical specifications and user acceptance. Implemented modules viz. Radio & Cinema. Involved in client interaction, making impact analysis, coding, code review, writing stored procedures and triggers. Mainly involved in testing and fixing bugs for all modules for front-end, back-end and reports. Reviewed codes for the modules developed by other programmers. ERWIN-3.0 used for making changes and firing the database, which involves 70 tables in regular and 40 tables in housekeeping. Created various reports using SQR Report Writer 3.2.
