Dear all,
I have problems invoking applets from Netscape Navigator 4.7.I used <APPLET> tag to include the applets in html file.It worked fine in IE 6.But
"Applet BioPro.class ClassFormat Error Bad Major Version Number." raised when executing in netscape.
Does the code differ from IE?
Please reply me.
Thanks
Chaitu.

IE 6.0 is using Microsoft JVM, not fully support Java2. The question is whether your applet is using Java 2 tech?

If you're using J++, don't expect your code to run anywhere but in old versions of IE. Microsoft lost a lawsuit to Sun precisely because J++ isn't really Java.
