applet not showing

i just developed this applet
it has this jar file .
it works well on my system but on the internet it does not show up at all .
what is the problem.
the class com.chinedubond.galleryApp.GalleryApplet is in a jar file.
do i need to create a directory like com/chinedubond/gallery/ also.
it works on my desktop.
what seem to be the problem?
it has a plugin it is emmbedded in the object tag in the html doc.

No if you mean on the client side. In the JAR file I guess you have com/chinedubond/gallery directory, right?
Also, it would be helpful if you can see the error you might be getting in your "Java Console" and post your HTML code for the Applet...

what error are you getting in "Java console" if any?

well ,
first of all, when i wrote the applet at home on a pentium running
windows 98.
it worked pretty well.
after deployment i found it difficult to view it or rather impossible.
cos i was viewing it on window 2000 system which needed services pack 2 to be installed so after installing the service pack 2/3/4
and the jre java runtime environment. viola it is up and running
