John, it's very tiresome when people post things jsut to see what they can get away with. I suspect your post would've had a better chance if you'd tried honesty rather than trickery.

No trickery intended. Horatian satire, yes; but trickery, no. (Horatian satire is gentle, urbane, smiling; it intends to correct by gentle and broadly sympathetic laughter; it notices foibles and smiles at them.) If you had read the link you probably would have chuckled. I thought Annan's language sounded a bit foreign.

There was never any shortage of Anti-American, Anti-Bush hatred. I simply waited for the truth to unfold. ( with fingers crossed for good luck of course...)
