Is it possible to have an applet running inside another applet (panel)?

As far as I know, you may not have one applet running inside another applet. You may put all the stuff in a panel and put the panel inside the applet though. What would be the advantage of putting one applet inside another?

Since Applet extends Panel, I'd bet that one Applet could be added to another.
