I am using IE 6.0 and jre 1.4.2_05. When my applet starts up it initiates a two-way SSL contection with the server. The connection is established and the applet makes a call to the servlet. But once the session has been started I get the following error:
Keep-Alive-Timer, called close()
Keep-Alive-Timer, called closeInternal(true)
Keep-Alive-Timer, SEND SSLv3 Alert: warning, description=close_notify
....
Finalizer, called close()

I am telling the jre with key to use by using the runtime parameters.
Do applets need any special code since they now establish the SSL connection themselves verus using the SSL connection established by the browser?

Thanks
