loading applet problem

The first time my applet is loaded it take time which is quite ok ,but later after the applet is loaded even when i refresh it ,it still take a lot of time.Iam using the object tag for that which the cache_archives ="my jar file which contains the images", cache_option="browser" .I want to know is it necessary to use my archive property too .If yes what value archive should contain.

The same problem occurs when i move from the applet screen and come back to it ,it still shows my applet as loading.

please reply as soooooon as possible.

I think the applet gets reloaded everytime you refresh the page. You can put ur applet on a page that does not get reloaded. One way of doing this is to use IFRAME.
basically you put your current html page that has object tag inside another html page's IFRAME.

you would do something like this:
<IFRAME id="mypage" src"old.html"></IFRAME>

where old.html is your current html that has OBJECT tag etc.
