Hai,

I am really intersted in java coding and consider of taking SCJP seriously.

But if u refer net u will be overwhelmed by the materials available and frankly I am confused to go for the right one.

I do want to take scjp straight away without going for scja since it is not necessary as the stepping stone for certification.

Now my questions are SCJP 1.5 is really harder than SCJP 1.4.
What should I opt?

It will be greatly appreciated if some one who had already taken the SCJP could tell me their road (the books and materials referred and preparation time) to certification .

Thanks
Devidas

You may find that browsing through our Sun Certification Results forum will help you. Many people have described their route to obtaining their certifications including what books they have read, what mock exams they took, and how long they have studied.
