How to check that logged user is member of local Power User or Administrator group?

Dear Ranchers,
I'm developing an Applet that checks workstation settings, one thing it has to check is whether the logged user is member of Windows 2000's Administrators or Power Users group or not.
Now, I'm stuck, could you please help?
