Hi All,

I have a problem while downloading an applet through HTTPS.
There is an html page which contains a link to an applet.
When I clicks on it, it starts downloading applet jar file.
Then I am gettinng an error, in java plug-in console.

java.net.ConnectException: HTTPS response=404

at sun.applet.AppletPanel.runLoader(Unknown Source)
at sun.applet.AppletPanel.run(Unknown Source)
at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source)

when I press OK button in the console, a ClassNotFound Exception is shown in the browser window. I am not able to view the applet.

Anybody has any idea abt this?
Do I need to change any settings in my browser

Thanks
Vijay

The response code 404 means that the server could not find the requested URL.
