Java chart printing problems

I�ve made a javaclass to make certain graphs. When I call it from a jsp page, it all works fine. The graph comes nicely on screen with labels and lines. The problem starts when I try to print it. When I choose File/Print to choose a printer, the labels in the graph disappear, but the lines stay. When I print it, the print shows what was on screen: the graph with the lines, but no labels. When I refresh the screen, the labels appear again, but when I try to print it again, the same problem starts again. What could cause this? Can anyone help me with this?

What kind of charting software do you use? How is the chart generated?

I've done it through an Applet.
The labels are made with a drawString.
