I'm just starting with applets. As an experiment, I took an demo applet from the JDK folder and started to play with it. It is loading and working fine in IE but not in FireFox.

the line I'm using (copied from the JDK folder) is:

<applet code='GraphApplet.class' width='300' height='120' 'VIEWASTEXT'>

Can someone please let me know what changes are required to make it work in both IE and FireFox? or am I doing something wrong? Thanks.

Are there any messages in the browser status bar or the Java COnsole?

No. Nothing at all. if I run it from my harddrive, IE first blocks the applet, but once I say allow it, it works. When I run it from an server, IE does not even shows that, it straigt loads the applet. but firefox is not doing anything anywhere.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
