Applet not running in Internet Explorer

My applet is a simple one. I have compiled in jdk1.5 . It runs in applet viewer but doest not run in Internet Explorer. The status says, Applet XYZ started,but the applet area is blank. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Is IE set up to use the Java 1.5 plugin? Check the Java Plugin control panel that IE is selected as one of the browsers to use, and that the correct JRE is selected in the Advanced tab.

My applet works. It is due to Netbean's library missing in archive.

Which Java tool are you using for coding and deployed? Please check if there is any library file missing.

i have the same problem

the error i get is Applet Not Initiated .
