Hi All,
We are into a project in Oracle Portal Server where in we want to embed a result of a standalone application(Which is applet) in JSP.
This standalone application generates applet based on the input it gets from the current application's database.
If it was static we could have used jsp lugin but, it fails in our case!
We are clueless as to how to embed an applet which will pick up the data dynamically.
Can anyone of you help me in this regard?
Thanks & Regards
Arthi

it fails in our case!

What does this mean? Which parts of the applet tag change dynamically? If it's just the parameters then you should have no problems generating those in your JSP.

The Plugin Dev Guide may in any event be helpful in resolving problems like this.

u can get the data dynamically into the jsp and tht data u can pass to the applet (which is in the same jsp ) dyanmically and access tht data in applet .
<PARAM NAME="CalloutSize" VALUE="anilkumar">

and in applet ,u can get the data as follows
String strCheck = getParameter("CalloutSize");

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
