I am studying for the SCJP exam using "SCJP for Java 5" by Kathy Sierra and Bert Bates.
I am finding the exercise questions at the end of the chapter very very tricky and hard. For example, an answer choice looks right, except it has a pair of parentheses missing.
I find the exercise questions quiz you on trivial technicalities, instead of solid programming logic.
Does the real SCJP exam have questions as hard like the ones in the book?

Most questions are pretty straight forward in comparison to the questions given in the book. Yes the real exam questions are a touch easier.
