what "# HexDigits "?

I know the "0x HexDigits". but I don't know about "# HexDigits".
Pls give me some example to understand.

Hexadecimal values are represented differently depending on the context. See Wikipedia - Hexadecimal for some examples.

Hexadecimal representation prefixed by # is used in HTML color designations. But in Java, hexadecimals are prefixed by 0x. So I would not expect to see # used on the exam.

We need more information. What's the context of this question? The Formatter class?
