Hi:
I was planning to get SCJP 1.4 certificate last year. (Exams 310-035) I paid $100 USD and purchased the book. However, I kept on putting off the exam and my last date to take the exam is Feb, 2006. And I didn't take the exam because I was at school at the time. I really regret it. It is a bad life choice.:$:$

However, since now I have more time on hand, and I really want to give it a try since I had been studying for it and I already bought the book and I don't like to give up without trying. Now, is there a way to register for the exam again? Will I be allowed to take the exam again? And far as payment goes, I suppose I will never get my $100 refund back, correct?

Please let me know.

Many thanks,

Sheriff

"doglin,"

Please revise your display name to meet the JavaRanch Naming Policy. To maintain the friendly atmosphere here at the ranch, we like folks to use real (or at least real-looking) names, with a first and a last name.

You can edit your display name here. Thank you for your prompt attention!

Certainly you can register again for the exam. (Even if you had taken the exam and failed, you would be allowed to retake it after 2 weeks -- provided you buy another voucher.)

Unfortunately, I wouldn't expect a refund on an expired voucher. Next time around, hold off on buying the new voucher until you're almost ready, so that you will have plenty of opportunity to use it.

(Thanks for changing your display name! )
