Can someone tell me if the upgrade exams for SCJP are aesier than the normal ones.
I know the number of questions are lesser in an upgrade, but I am enquiring about the difficulty level.
Are the questions easier since it is an upgrade (or are they tougher since you are already certified for the previous version and hence know the fundamentals)

I have to admit that, having taken the upgrade, I think it's probably harder... but only in the sense that it doesn't cover the fundamentals that haven't changed between versions. You're left to deal with only the areas that are new, so in the sense that it's without all the easier questions...
Still, I'll admit that I did rather like the fact that it was shorter, so it evens out.
