laoding applet in struts

Using WSAD and struts, I am trying to load an applet from a jsp (located under WebContent/image). I have used <jsp lugin> in my jsp. The applet class is in a jar file which is located under WEB-INF/lib. My jsp is unable to load applet as it give exception that applet is not found. Any thoughts!! Thanks

All applet classes and jar files must be in a publicly accessible directory - which WEB-INF is not (no files will be served out of WEB-INF directly). Usually all files that go with an applet are kept in the same directory where the HTML or JSP file that contains the applet tag is.
