Should I take the SCJP 1.2 or the SCJP 1.4 exam?

Please give some information on SCJP 1.2 and SCJP 1.4, which one is better? and which books (with addition of book) should be read for SCJP 1.2 and SCJP 1.4.

If there's any debate at all, it's usually whether to take version 1.4 or 1.5. And with Java 6 on the way, I would not even consider taking the 1.2 exam unless you have a specific reason to do so.

Kathy Sierra's Book book helped me alot in passing the scjp exam.
It is simple and detailed.

I strongly recommend you to go for 1.5 even though it might have more topics than its previous versions.I felt kathy's book is good.
