Hi everybody,

I am going through the prometric exam site and try to schedule appointment with test centre, after selecting the available date and time, it is asking me voucher number or promotion code. What is this.

Do i have to register for given exam before this process and should i regsiter for the exam on Sun site or Prometric site?

Bert could you please help me where to register.

Thanks

This is pretty much a duplicate post. The prometric site will only show you where you can book your exam. You need to contact the prometric centre to book anything. They give you a voucher that is valid for a year.

Agreed... since this thread is more detailed than the other one. I'll delete the other one.

Where do you plan on giving this exam?. If in the UK then instead of purchasing it online(seeing that youre having trouble with it), get a list of authorized centres in your area call them up and tell them you want to purchase a voucher from them.

Where do you want to take your exam? If you are staying in the UK to work and take your exam in the UK use your UK address to register. In that case you have to pay everything at Sun's UK proces. Notice that Sun is interested where you are residing right now, not your national country. If you are returning to India and want to take your exam there, then you had better wait until you return and register locally.

If you want to take your exam in UK and use your indian address then you should call the telephone number they gave you.

Sorry but, nobody on JavaRanch works with Prometric or Sun so you must not rely on us to solve this problem for you.
