image calibration

does anyone in here tried image calibration?

google gives results but i need codes only like how this can be done...

help is needed in here...

ImageJ can perform image calibration, so you may be able to lift some code from it.

i have seen ij now but i still have no idea as to how it works: calibration works to be exact.

what does calibration mean by the way?

i thought calibration just means increasing the dots per inch or per cm but it doesnt seem that way in ij...

help is badly needed...

If you're curious how it works in IJ, post a question on the image-j mailing list, or have a look at its source code.

You're welcome. Image calibration is a bit obscure a topic, even more so in the Java world, so there may be nobody here who has done it (neither have I, actually ).
