Install applet in browser permanently

Hi,
We want to minimize the time for downloading the applet into browser. So want to install the applet permanently onto client browser. These client computers are custom based. So there is no issue if we install permanently.

How can we install applet on client browser permanently.

If it's not actaully downloaded, then why make it an applet at all? Why not an application (which doesn't have the security restrictions applets have)?

The applet is already exists. now can not get rid of this servlet.we are trying out minimize the time to load

The applet is already exists.

It's easy to convert an applet to an application, and has benefits that seem to be applicable to this situation. You might also want to look into deploying this code via Web Start.
now can not get rid of this servlet.

I don't understand what this means. What does a servlet have to do with the applet/application?

I mean to say applet. it was typo.
How can i load the applet with webstart?
Is there any way to cache the applet on client side?
if so can you guide me to proper place. all we want to have is to loading the applet again and again.If it loads once it should not get it from server again.

Web Start is not for applets; it's for applications. You can learn more about it on its home page.
Is there any way to cache the applet on client side?

Applet jar files in general are being cached by the Java Plugin. Before you spend a lot of time and effort to set up something for this problem, make sure that the applet actaully is being downloaded multiple times even though the file hasn't changed on the server. In all likelihood, it isn't. The Java Plugin control panel has some settings that affect the applet jar cache.
