Applet cache

Hi Guyz,
I beleieve the applets(jar files)are cached by the pulgin and as well as by the browser.Is there any specific place where these files are cached.I am unable to find the cached files in the directory specified in the java Plugin(Cache directory).Hope someone could help me out...

What operating system and browser are you using?

On OS X, there's an application called "Java Preferences" that is used to manage that cache.

I am Using Windows 2000 and JRE 1.6.
