i am not strong in java.i want to take a certification exam in java(SCJP).
i don't know which one to take i.e.,either java1.4 or java5?

I'm not strong in brain surgery, but I don't want to become a certified brain surgeon until I have learnt how to do it properly.
Why don't you learn Java first?
