To administrators,
I am having a good conversation with Mr.Herbert Schildt in Java in General(Beginner) forum. Here is the link to that thread. He and I have been posting in that thread back and forth clarifying questions about his book in the promotion. There are about six messages posted in that thread; three from me and three from him.

Today, I just found out that those messages are gone. Where are they? I have posted another question about the book last night. It is also lost in space.

Do I have to post it again or wait for the administrators to recover the messages back to the forum? Thank you.

I believe the whole site has been affected.

Anyway, be patient to wait for the recovery.

Nick

Hi Ko Ko,

As mentioned in this thread, Saloon's data disk crashed. The data has been restored from backup, but there are about 18 hours of lost posts. It's unclear at this point whether that data is recoverable. We'll give an update when we know more.

Regards, Andrew

Oh I see. So I'll just wait for the recovery to finish and have a conversation with Mr.Herbert Schildt then. Thanks for your reply, Andrew.

Go read that thread again, "we don't know if the data can be recoverd".
You might want to try to start that conversation back up without waiting.
