hello reader 
i want to run my applet in Linux(Fedora Core7). Kindly tell me that how to set jdk and jre in Linux.
I have installed jdk1.5 in directory /usr/java/
and
jre1.6 in the same directory /usr/java/.
I tried to configure jre with Mozilla firefox but failed 
... waiting..

You need to create a symbolic link of JRE plugin into your firefox plugin. For more information, you can refer to the Firefox FAQ.
