Regarding purchase of voucher

I have been trying to purchase a voucher for CX-310-055. I am not able to find the field where the credit card number is to be entered

The payment methods available are:

Training Credit Serial Number (Is this where you enter the credit card number?)

Purchase Order (P.O.) Number.

Check/Bank Draft Number

Can someone who has gone through this process would be able to sort this out?

Also, for Certification Vouchers purchase, Sun will advice payee detail - What does this mean?

The "Training Credit Serial Number" is not the credit card number. It is usually for people who have possibly ordered hardware or services from Sun and are allowed a discount in the cost of training.

To state the obvious: do not give your credit card number to anyone who offers to assist you in ths problem (including me )

In my case ordering a voucher in Switzerland from Sun meant that Sun sent me a payment order which I paid by bank transfer and then Sun sent me the voucher by post. Are you sure that the procedure is not the same where you are?

In some countries you can contact one of the local test centres and purchase vouchers directly.

Does this mean, that one cannot pay for the voucher online?

In which country do you plan to take your certification?
Are you using Sun's Education website?

India, yes i am using the Sun Website for voucher purchase. I searched through previous posts and found a couple of places, where the voucher can be purchased directly. However, an online purchase would be very convenient.

Well, I went to the Sun Education India site and followed links for Java SCJP 5.0 certification and at the point I stopped it was giving information about paying with credit card. I guess that proceeding on with the process would have lead to the correct payment form.

I would suggest you contact your nearest NIIT center. Its hassle free. You pay, fill a form, give them a date and presto ! Everything is done. As simple as that

I browsed to https://www.suntrainingcatalogue.com/eduserv/client/welcome.do?l=en_IN

Selected Browse by Product Type->Certifications

This displays a list of all exams available with their ID. I selected CX-310-055. This leads to a page which displays the price in INR and a Order certification link. Clicking on this link, a form is loaded that requests personal and payment details (Card payment option is not available in this form). At this stage i expected that somewhere ahead, there would be some place asking for card details. However there was none.

At the moment, my registration says "payment by invoice".

As John suggested, i would have to visit an NIIT centre, if the online registration doesen't work out.
