This week's book giveaway is in the OCAJP 8 forum. We're giving away four copies of OCA Java SE 8 Programmer I Study Guide and have Edward Finegan & Robert Liguori on-line! See this thread for details.
Scenario: I have an applet running on HTML page. The applet execution in the method is in a loop. So, applet loads in windows processes list and doestn't stop working even , after the browser has been closed.
You should put code in the "stop" method that causes the loop in the start method to terminate. And, of course, the start method should not be long-running; it should terminate quickly. If you need to keep code running, start a thread.
