Hi,

My company's Intranet Application is currently using Swing for GUI.The business logic lies in the Stored Procedures. We are using RMI to connect to the database. They are planning to migrate from applets to a newer technology.

I was thinking of
1. Struts with Spring DAO
2. Spring &/or Hibernate.

Could someone PLEASE suggest me the best frameworks or technology to use & Why?

Thanks in advance

If there were a best framework, then the rest would go away... You should read the documentation for each and see how the functionality of each fits into your application. Then download each and try to write a quick application with each to see which one is easier for you and your team to use. Then compare the ease-of-use with the function-set to come up with the winner.
