Hi,
I am having a swing application which captures the electronic signature from the signature pad. When i am running this as a standalone application, it is working fine. But when i try to run this inside the browser it is not running, since i am using the third party jars to capture the signature i think it is not working. I am using the below code snipped to plugin the swing application inside browser.
Let me know how to refer the third party jar files here.....

<object
classid = "clsid:CAFEEFAC-0015-0000-0009-ABCDEFFEDCBA"
codebase = "http://java.sun.com/update/1.5.0/jinstall-1_5_0_09-windows-i586.cab#Version=5,0,90,3"
WIDTH = "500" HEIGHT = "300">
<param name = "code" value = "com/acs/luc/signPad/HelloSwingApplet.class" >
<!-- the below jar not able to identify -->
<param name = "archive" value = "C:\SigPlus2_47.jar" >
<param name = "type" value = "application/x-java-applet;jpi-version=1.5.0_09">
<param name = "scriptable" value = "false">

</object>

regards
Sriram.

Probably caused because applets are run in a sandbox environment. Moving to applets.

There should be an error message in the browser's java console.
Copy and paste it here.

Indeed, applets that interact with local hardware will need to be signed. See HowCanAnAppletReadFilesOnTheLocalFileSystem for more details.
