Hi All,

I have an application of applet using jar file placed in same directory. The jar file has all the class files which gets the parameters from front end html file.

While accessing the file through server, I get the following exception.

Error: uncaught exception: java.security.PrivilegedActionException: java.security.PrivilegedActionException: java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException

Can you please help and let me know where am i going wrong & how to resolve the problem

I even added MAYSCRIPT attribute also.

Hello "reference reference" - please adjust your screen name to comply with the naming policy: http://www.javaranch.com/name.jsp
That's a prerequisite of participating in these forums.

As to your question, the applet probably does something that's prohibited by the applet security sandbox, possibly using the Reflection API. Are you familiar with the sandbox, what it does, and how to work around it in case you need to?

You can start reading up on that at http://faq.javaranch.com/java/HowCanAnAppletReadFilesOnTheLocalFileSystem

And please fix your display name so that it adheres to our naming policy - a first and last name are required.
