Want to buy SCJP 5.0 study guide from UK

Hi,

I am preparing for the SCJP 5.0 exam and hence want to buy the SCJP 5.0 study guide written by Kathy and Bert Bates. As i am resident of UK, I looked up at http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/0072253606/ref=pd_luc_mri/026-2952750-8139631?%5Fencoding=UTF8

Amazon's UK website, but they are only selling the older verion (scjp 1.4) book. I have confirmed this information by emailing to Amazon's Uk office.

Could any one suggest from where I can get the SCJP 5.0 guide either online or any book store within UK?.

I don't want to buy from Amazon's US website as it take 3-4 weeks to deliver.

actually i bought the book from amazon us and i got it within like 2 weeks(expedited shipping). i live in Sri Lanka by the way.

I just clicked the link you gave and it leads to a book called
Sun Certified Programmer for Java 5: Study Guide Exam 310-055 (Certification Press S.) (Paperback)

Which is the one you are looking for and it is listed as being in stock. Not sure of the problem.

If you go below on the same web page, you will find a table of contents link. Clicking on that link shows the contents of the SCJP 1.4 study guide, which i already have. I emailed this problem to Amazon's UK office and their replied as follows: After looking into your enquiry I found that the book "Sun Certified
Programmer for Java 5: Study Guide Exam 310-055 (Certification Press
S.) (Paperback) by Kathy Sierra, Bert Bates" is of previous version
and not the new version.

So, i am confused.

I suspect it is the book you want, they just have the details wrong. The important information is the ISBN. The meta data is often wrong, e.g. the screen shot of the book I co-authored didn't even have my name on it (the real thing did). Ask them again, because if it is the right ISBN you will be OK.
