Hello everyone, I have two questions here, please help me.
1. How do I know what kind of error (compile itme or run time) for each defect point. I have a problem when I found the defect point in source code, but it is not enough for SCJP exam becuase I always have to choose between compile time and runtime error. So, would anyone please give me some trick.
2. In real exam, Does the exam told you how many choice is correct since it is multiple choise and mulitple answer?
for your 1st question to detect this, you have to be thorough with the rules in java.. because you need to understand whether a program violates any of the rules or not.. if it violates.. then its a compilation error.. but thinking about runtime stuff.. mostly they're Exceptions so you wont see them in the code.. you have to run the program in your mind and see what sort of thing actually happens and then should decide whether it throws an exception or not...
in view of the certification, if you go through the guidelines given in SCJP books for exceptions you will get a better understanding
for your 2nd question its a 'YES' you get the number of answers correct for the question.
