Hi Bert,

I'm planning to do the upgrade of SCJP.

Do you have tips on how to tackle the
preparation for this exam, especially
with respect to the objectives.

Should I pay less attention to some
parts of the K&B study guide?

Kind regards,

Gian

Hey Gian,

Great to hear from you!

You know, I thought that the upgrade exam covered everything on the main exam, but that you would expect the new SCJP 5 features to be more heavily weighted. But, when I went to compare the two sets of objectives on Sun's site:

http://www.sun.com/training/catalog/courses/CX-310-055.xml

I found differences. So, next week I'll ask Evelyn, and get back to you.

Bert

The official word is that anything in the objectives is fair game, but the smart money says that you should make sure you understand all the new stuff very well.

Is that vague enough?
