About pre-exam questions

What about the questions that asked before the exam, about the level of the candidate in specific area,I was told that Expert,Intermediate or novoice.What was the best option to choose? Will these questions affect the toughness of questions or the pattern of questions or the hints(like ISO locales and ISO languge code or Other information) given for the questions?
If this affects, what about if we choose novoice?
What we have to respond if no quesion was given, only the code and answars?Is it right to think the question like "What will be the output of following code?"(Eventhough this was not given above the code).Will these type of things happen in the exam...?

The pre-exam questions have no effect on the questions you will get. Just make sure you don't waste time on them if the clock is running.

The questions will be quite clearly stated.

Getting someone to think and try something out is much more useful than just telling them the answer.
