K&B test failed me with 75%

This afternoon I took my second K&B test (the one you get after registering)
I did it slower this time, one the first one I was already finished with more than an hour left (scored 65% there and passed). This time I finished with 40 minutes left and I rechecked the questions. I pressed the exam results button and I scared myself to dead when I saw 'failed' (merely because I have the test tomorrow). The score said 750 but apperantly I needed 806 /1000. I don't understand but I'll settle for 59% tomorrow!

i have several times read Bert's posts saying that their test is supposed to be harder than the real test. The idea being that if you can pass their practice test, you will SAIL through the real exam.

I can't FIND one of those posts to back up my claim, but I wouldn't be surprised if he comes along soon and chimes in.

Hi Mark,

Hmmm... I thought that the passing rate was incorrect for the 1.4 mock exam, but that it had been fixed for the 5.0 exam. Can you confirm which version you're using?

And good luck!

Bert

thanks all!

to Bert:
Well the 1.5 I hope
I can look this up when I'm back.
Anyway, there is also a question in the first exam on the cd that gives incorrect when you pick the right answer (and then gives you the explanation of the answer you just chose), I double checked this to be sure but can't remember the question .

I'll post my results when I'm back.

All the best Mark,

it's always good to screw the last rehearsal, as it will wake you up for the real exam!!

Good luck,
Tommaso

Hi,

I think the test on the CD is okay, but the bonus one you download has the pass mark set to 80%.

I failed either way! (but I passed the real thing a week later Yee-haw!!)

I bought the K&B book with CD. And the CD is having one Master Exam. Apart from that does K&B is providing any other sample mock exams?. If so, how to get that one..

From the main menu the Bonus CD (the one which takes you to the Master Exam and electronic copy of the book etc etc) If you click on "Bonus Master Exam" you are taken to a site where you can download a second exam from the publisher.
