How do I execute an exe file from HTML, using VB Script Or Java Script.
I have tried to use the "Shell" command of VB in my scripting, but it doesn't work.

The Java Ranch has thousands of visitors every week, many with surprisingly similar names. To avoid confusion we have a naming convention, described at http://www.javaranch.com/name.jsp . We require names to have at least two words, separated by a space, and strongly recommend that you use your full real name. Please choose a new name which meets the requirements.
Thanks.

An executable on the server or on the client?
Javascript is only on the client side but unless I'm mistaken there is no way to launch executables with it.
If you were using Java (note: Java != Javascript) you could use servlets or JSP (same thing really) to run executables on the server.
You use the Runtime.exec() to create a process that can execute commands.
