PriorityQueue order?

        Queue q = new PriorityQueue();
            q.offer(new String("hello "));
            q.offer(new String("hi ") );
            q.offer(new String("bye "));
 
        System.out.println("size: " + q.size() + q); #
 
            for ( int z = 0, size = q.size(); z < size; z++)
            {
                System.out.println(q.poll() + " " + q.size() ); ##
            }

Output:
size: 3[bye , hi , hello ]
bye 2
hello 1
hi 0

Why the order of element are different between # and ##??
