At SUNs web site ( http://www.sun.com/training/certification/java/scjp.xml ) it says: "To achieve this (SCJP) certification, candidates must successfully complete one exam. It is not necessary to be a Sun Certified Java Associate prior to taking this exam." What else, except SCJA, counts? I don't have any SUN certs passed. I have few IBM's (XML, SOA, DB2). I belive that doesn't count?

I believe that sentence is referring to one of the SCJP exams that was listed in the preceding paragraph. It does kindof makes sense, that to achieve SCJP certification, you have to pass a SCJP exam. Henry
