No canceling, just postpone. Postpone the exam date, not the voucher. Unless John Meyers is right. I have no strong proof for my point, and he did not reveal his sources either.
Here is an unofficial and vaguely related issue: Search for
My voucher for the exam is about to expire, what can I do? It is about a certain statement that is supposed to be on the back of your voucher. Is it on yours? My vouchers don't even have a back; I got them by email as HTML.
On the other hand, the official
Sun certification FAQ sais:
How can I have my exam voucher extended past the expiration date?
Voucher expiration dates cannot be extended. You must register and take your exam prior to the date printed on this voucher. Neither Prometric, Authorized Prometric Testing Centers, nor Sun Microsystems are responsible for vouchers that are not redeemed by the expiration date. Candidates that chose not to register and take their exam within the one year time frame will not be given an extension.
