please tell me that weather i should give
1.5 or 1.4??? as i have good knowledge of 1.4 but i am not able to decide which one i should give for my future benefit....

I'd vote for the 5.0 exam:
1 - It is, for most practical purposes, a superset of what's on the 1.4 - in other words there's nothing critical on the 1.4 that isn't on the 5.0.
2 - It certifies the most current, important features of J2SE (like generics).
3 - It's broader, it proves a greater range of knowledge.
Spot false dilemmas now, ask me how!
