All:
I've finished reading the SCJP prep book by Sierra and Bates and now I would like to start with the mock exams in prep for the exam.

For those of you who have invested in the Whizlabs product, could you please provide your feedback? Is it worth the money? Is it one of those you-gotta-do-this-in-order-to-pass product? Is the Enthuware product any better, even though its less expensive?

And for those of you who have the Whizlabs product...are those exam questions as difficult as the exam questions presented in the Sierra / Bates book? (jeesh...those questions are difficult!!!)

thanks to for your time and your response...

I have been impressed by Whizlabs mock exams. I have been working with them after having gone through the K&B book. Some seem to be quite tricky, so no worries about getting spoiled by easy questions. :-)

hi,
i am taking the exam on 23rd April. Right now i am going over the mock exams available on the net. Do i need to buy the Whizlbs product to get a good score on the exam or is it enough to go over K&B book properly and practice the mock exams whats available.

WhizLabs do give you a clearer picture...in the sense say you read a sentence about a language rule in the book...you thought you understand...but then you dont think about the traps that can be associated with that rule. Its only when you give mock tests and come across tricky questions, and perhaps might not even remember that oh that rule secretly applies to this question...that is when Whizlabs or any other good mock exam softwares help a lot. They make you practice such questions and They reinforce your understanding of concepts.

YES

And while you're at it, get the Enthuware simulator as well...

both give you a money back guarantee that you will pass. So why not buy both, nothing to lose really???

I used WhizLabs, and I found the software helpful. The quizzes are useful and the mocks are good.

The main problem is that they cover stuff that's not on the exam. As the exam nears I find myself wanting to know what sort of score I can expect. When you're answering questions that aren't even going to appear on the exam it's a bit frustrating.

I also bought the Sun online ePractice Exams. (These are okay, but they're all multiple choice, so they're not a reliable exam simulation).
