Well we could start a new thread each week or every few days and talk to each other. Stuff we are all interested in as where to find test info or which book or a schedule for covering topics etc ...

If someone bothers to start a topic I will join in.

Start it with something like May Starters Wk One.

I might point out that this forum is already an SCJP study group. We're all here to help each other.

Hello "pnsj rtrs"-

Welcome to JavaRanch.

On your way in you may have missed that we have a JavaRanch Naming Policy for displayed (screen) names. Your displayed name must consist of a first name (or an initial), a space, and a family name (in that order) and not be obviously fictitious. Since yours "pnsj rtrs", does not conform with it, please take a moment to change it, which you can do right here.

Posters with nonconforming displayed names will be locked out of JavaRanch after a few posts using those names.

Thanks
-Barry

No!! This idea has been proposed before and rejected.

Remember, topics in these forums should be reusable. There are lots of members who uses JavaRanch as a repository to search for answers. This means that the topic should be focused to a particular question, and should eventually get to the answer for that question. It should be relevant months, or even years from now.

It should not be a general topic that discuss a particular topic (like threads in general), a chapter of a book, or for a very specific set of people (like May starters wk one).

Henry
