Hi,I am working as a Software Engineer developer in a very reputed IT company. I have 1.7 years of experience in Java/J2ee projects. I am looking for a job switch. I am planning to write SCWCD certification. So I was just wondering that will the certification help me improve my chances of getting a good job ?

Hi Deepak,

I would suggest you to appear for SCWCD first and then look for a change due to following reasons:

1) Since the certification would definitely cover more topics than you must be knowing right now, you'll be gaining more knowledge of JSP and Servlets after the exam than you actually have right now.

2) You'll be 2+ years experienced till the time you give the exam and most of the openings are for 2+ years exp.
