its up to you man...
if upgrade doesnt seem good for you..then start from scrath...but you know the head ache of starting from scratch....so think about that...
upgrade will allow you to brush up new concepts while a new exam will allow you to brush the old and learn the new...
the ball is in your court...

ThankU suresh koutam

But I am thinking of from scratch..
Bcoz I got 96 in SCJP1.4..
And I lost those marks bcoz of my on foolish mistakes..
Which I never supposed to commit..
Now I want to rectify that mistake..
That's why i did want to know whether it's possible to give SCJP1.5 from scratch or not..

Thanks a lot..

Hello "kar thik"-

Welcome to JavaRanch.

On your way in you may have missed that we have a JavaRanch Naming Policy for displayed (screen) names. Your displayed name must consist of a first name (or an initial), a space, and a family name (in that order) and not be obviously fictitious. Since yours "kar thik", does not conform with it, please take a moment to change it, which you can do right here.

Posters with nonconforming displayed names will be locked out of JavaRanch after a few posts using those names.

Thanks
-Barry
