This week's book giveaway is in the Mac OS forum.
We're giving away four copies of a choice of "Take Control of Upgrading to Yosemite" or "Take Control of Automating Your Mac" and have Joe Kissell on-line!
See this thread for details.

To do that you have to talk to your printer. Find the website for the vendor of the printer, look for the printer manual and find out what character stream to send to control the printer. You should be able to attach that sequence to the beginning of your print file and get the desired results.

Questions about the Printing API are generally better asked in the "Other Java APIs" forum, so I've moved this post.
